Information requested
The number of RIDDOR workplace reportable incidents that have occurred at Hinkley Point C in the following years to either workers or members of the public in the following years: 2017-2024 and the first half of the year for 2025.
2. The type of injury involved in each of these incidents (e.g. deaths, specified injuries, over seven day injuries, injuries to people not at work, some work-related diseases, dangerous occurrences and gas incidents).

The table shows the total number of RIDDOR reported for each calendar year and a breakdown of RIDDOR reported by the three main reportable criteria (HS01, HS02, and HS03) as defined in our guidance.
Further information
Please note, the table only contains RIDDOR data related to those areas of the site that are regulated by ONR. If there are RIDDOR related to the small percentage of the overall construction site for which HSE is the enforcing authority they will not be included in this table (e.g.: the extended seawater system that exits from the site and is ducted under the Bristol Channel). You may therefore also wish to send your request to HSE.
Finally, please be aware that there are currently active court proceedings in relation to an incident at this site in November 2022.
